What happens at the reserve, in your inbox
Birds that fly again, field notes and what we learn along the way. We write when there is something worth telling, not every week.
We are a small foundation in the dry forest of Colombia''s Caribbean coast. We take in parrots and macaws that come from trafficking or captivity, rehabilitate them and give them back to the sky.
What reaches your inbox is that, told as it happened: the bird that left and which flock it joined, the before photo and the after one, what went well and what did not. When there is nothing to tell, we do not write.
Telling us where you are reading from and what you would like to see is not paperwork: it is what we use to decide what to write about.
What you are probably wondering
How often do you write?+
When something worth telling happens. Some weeks yes, some weeks no. We would rather write you little and have it matter than fill your inbox out of habit.
Can I unsubscribe?+
Whenever you want. Reply to any of our emails with the word unsubscribe and we will take you off the list, no questions asked.
What do you do with my email?+
It stays with us. We do not sell it or share it with anyone. Your city and what you tick are only used to decide what to tell and to whom. The details are in our privacy notice.
